The scenes between Holly Hunter’s Ada and Harvey Keitel’s Baines in his little shack are especially remarkable, with a single light source coming in and dispersing appropriately.

More details manage to stick out in those darker areas of the screen, even around the actors’ faces, leading to better depth in the image. The UHD’s presentation handles this aspect in a significantly cleaner manner, thanks in part to HDR and the wider range, I’m sure.
